Remember
We come to this plane of existence in full remembrance of who and what we are, but we quickly learn to forget, and cling to the false reality of this place. Each month, I offer a reminder of the ever enduring Spirit that is YOU!

Waiting For The World To Change
I wait for the world to change while working to fix all that is “wrong” in the World.
I wait for the world to change without changing myself.
I fail to see that the lack of caring I see in the world is a reflection of my own lack of caring for myself, my environment, and those around me.
I wait for the world to change without changing myself.
I see a world that is full of greed and poverty, but fail to see this as a reflection of my own greed and poverty of spirit… my own incessant need to consume to feed my deprivation of spirit.
I wait for the world to change without changing myself.
I see a world where people die of starvation, but fail to see that gluttony is the balance of starvation…my own excessive indulgence is a reflection of my inner starvation.
I wait for the world to change without changing myself.
I see war and destruction all around me, but fail to see that this is a reflection of my own internal battle…my self-deprecating and self-destructive thoughts and actions…my own self-flagellation.
I wait for the world to change without changing myself.
I have tried for centuries to change the world but to no avail… because in my quest to change the world I forgot to change ME… because I fail to see that I am the world and that the changing of the world begins inside of me not externally…
I change the world by becoming a reflection of the change I would like to see in the world…….
