Remember

We come to this plane of existence in full remembrance of who and what we are, but we quickly learn to forget, and cling to the false reality of this place. Each month, I offer a reminder of the ever enduring Spirit that is YOU!

LIVE? ~ LIVE. ~ LIVE!

Through the challenges and victories of this existence…do you really Live?
The sting of this life strikes you with your first breath and you scream. You cry, you sleep and develop a comfort in existence. You struggle to crawl and investigate this new place you have come to. You struggle through the challenges of learning to walk, you stand, you fall and you try again and again until you walk.
You struggle and cry through the challenges of teething and learning to eat and drink on your own. You play and you grow, you discover your feelings and you start to think, then struggle to express all you feel by talking. Then you learn that there are things you feel that you can never say or express… you learn not to live.
You are young and time seems endless. You are carefree and discover more depths to love, joy, pain, fear and you struggle to make some sense of it and what it means for you. Then, before you realize, you’re grown and on your own, at last.
You are grown now and struggle to discover the world and carve out a space for yourself. You win, you lose, you cry, you laugh, you fall, you stand, you stand again and again remaining in the game of life. Then you discover that your days have begun to slip away…too fast…much too fast. You beg time to stand still again or slow down, but time won’t wait. Then, too soon, you start to hear the distant drums of an ending.

Much too soon, the time to leave will come, and all there is left are your memories and your experiences; woven between the struggles, the challenges, the laughter, the pain, the fears, the losses, and the victories. These experiences are all you get to take with you when the time comes for you to leave.

It is never too late to ask yourself:
Did I really Give?
Did I really Receive?
Did I really Love?
Did I really LIVE?!?
If you answered NO to any of these you still have time to CHANGE your experience.

A very compelling description of what are our life experiences. If our life experiences are not what we want, then we still have time to complete our bucket list.
