This Mala bears the Chinese word for Buddha engraved on every other bead and the image of Quan Yin one of the 108 forms of the Bodhisatwa Avalokiteswara is engraved on every other bead. The Green Sandalwood beads in this prayer mala release a very light fragrance. The delightful fragrance is very soothing and helps to calm the senses and helps to reduce stress. The green colour of the beads is activated by light - the more light or energy the mala is exposed to, the darker the colour of green. The less the beads are exposed to light, they turn a rich, brown colour. The more sunlight or energy they are exposed to the beads turn a rick dark green colour.
