A museum quality masterpiece, Prosperity is a handmade solid gold case that guards a 500-year-old Buddhist plaque depicting 7 manifestations of Buddha said to bring prosperity and peace to the wearer. The case was handmade by an 85yr. master goldsmith in Bali known as “Grandpa”. Grandpa is a devout Buddhist and a master goldsmith. The two-year project of making the gold case involved blessings, prayers, mantras and sutras. The 23k solid gold case is entirely hand formed and hand chiseled. The case bears rich intricate hand designs of lotus blossoms. The back of the case rests over the Solar Plexus and bears a raised, hand-chiseled image of Ganesha the remover of obstacles. Ganesha’s crown is an image of Amitaba Buddha, the most ancient among the Dhyani Buddha’s. Amitabha denotes boundless light. The treasure the case guards is a 500 year old Buddhist plaque made of sandstone, depicting seven manifestations of Buddha:

1. Naga Buddha – depicts the enlightening of Buddha
2. Sakyamuni Buddha – "The enlightened one"
3. Nirvana Buddha – depicts Buddha entering into Nirvana in Kusinagar in 543 B.C
4. Maitreya Buddha – Maitreya Buddha is a future Buddha who is expected to come to earth from Tushita heaven.
5. Dipankar – "The enlightener" Dipankar Buddha is believed to have lived 1000 years on earth.
6. Adi Buddha – is the original Buddha who is without beginning and without ending. He is self created and reveals himself in the form of a blue flame coming out of a lotus.
7. Amitabha Buddha – The most ancient of the Dhyani Buddha’s who resides in the Sukhabati Heaven in peaceful meditation. He is said to bring peace to the lives to those who worship him.

Prosperity is 2.75" high and 1.5 inches wide and weighs 96.9 grams. The piece comes with two necklaces - a 24" 24K gold necklace weighing 32 grams and a 22K gold wire wrapped necklace with orange sapphires.
