Our Mahakala V is an attempt to simulate the ultimate powerful force that is the Mahakala in 108 vortexes.
Mahakala V bears the vibrations of the 5th Direction which is the center of North, South, West and East. The 5th direction governs ALL aspects of existence. That is why the 5th direction is the most powerful direction. Mahakala V is made from tektite beads (simulating the Colour of the Mahakala) each containing double vortexes, 32 antique Coral Beads from a Buddhist Convent in China (each bearing a double vortex), Meteorite, 7 Temple medicine beads, Hematite, 22K gold and a powerful Shiva Lingam which is one of the first working tools of one of our priests. This Shiva Lingam bears the essence of the energy of Lord Shiva and has been a powerful tool in the work of one of our Priest for the past 7 years, and is activated. This make Mahakala V the closest vibration to Shiva (our Ritual Piece) in a Mindful Adornment Piece. Mahakala V also draws to the wearer the expansion of opportunities or luck and wealth.
Mahakala V is bound by a 22K gold handmade clasp which intensifies his complete circuit, is 21” long and bears blessings of longevity, inner peace and general well being for the wearer. The vortexes in Mahakala V form 13 continuous vortex circuits and may be extended through thought, emotional intention or through physical touch simultaneously. Mahakala V anchors all 108 vortexes in the wears bodies and is far less subtle than Kali. He creates Powerful movement in all the bodies for the simulation of calm, peace and stability, physical power and primal power. The combination Mahakala V and Kali or Indra is one of the most powerful combinations on Mindful Adornment Pieces. Mahakala V works well with any Temple living piece and is our most powerful Mindful Adornment piece to date.
Mahakala (a form of Lord Shiva) is the almighty that runs the universe with his consort, Kali. According to Kali Tantra, He is the one who is believed to control the Kala or time. The Mahakala is relied upon in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. However, he is depicted in a number of variations, each with distinctly different qualities and aspects. Mahakala is typically black in color. Just as all colors are absorbed and dissolved into black, all names and forms are said to melt into those of Mahakala, symbolizing his all-embracing, comprehensive nature. Black can also represent the total presence of all color, and again in this case it signifies the nature of Mahakala as ultimate or absolute reality. This principle is known in Sanskrit as "nirguna", beyond all quality and form, and it is typified by both interpretations.
